Will you help rescue his friends?
Hi, I’m Charlie.
This dog rescue organization is named after me.
My sister and I were in cages, sleeping on a cold concrete floor and getting lousy food. It was crowded and they had to make room because more dogs were coming.
If we hadn’t been rescued, things would not have ended well for us.
Some of my friends are in the same terrible situation and they need help.
Will you help me save my friends?
Let’s make sure they get a new life in a warm and loving home.
Save a life. Adopt one of my friends.
Lets go!
Can you please hurry?
My friends are waiting!
Is it OK if I drive?

Charlie’s Dream – His own building
Charlie was an inspiration for all of us, humans and dogs. He saved hundreds of dogs and maybe some humans too in his years working with Rescue Charlie’s Friends. He saw all the dogs passing through and we think he knew he was doing something wonderful.
Charlie died on May 1st, 2020. We miss him terribly.
Rescue Charlie’s Friends will live on in his memory and continue to rescue dogs. Charlie’s dream was to have his own building where he could receive the transports indoors out of the weather. His dream has come true thanks to some very generous donations.
Scroll down to see the available dogs and puppies! Most are here now just waiting for you!
The Next Transport arrives on April 20th and April 27th.

I’m a little Beagle lady and these are my babies.
All my pups have different coloring so it is everyone’s guess that daddy must’ve been a really handsome guy!
I am good with my fosters cats. I do get excited if they run from me, I think they want to play, but mostly I ignore them.
I keep my kennel clean, and I walk on a leash really good.
I am ok with other dogs but I’d much rather cuddle with my humans on the couch.
I love to go for walks, just like my puppies do too.
Me and my kids just want to be with our person wherever they are.
I am just an all around good dog.
I will let you know if I don’t think you are paying enough attention to me. I do have a voice!
My puppies are like me, quiet and love to play at times.
They are great with other dogs and love everyone.
I’m not sure who Charlie is…. But I know he and his friends saved my whole family.
The babies are old enough now that we’re about to travel to Maine! Wherever that is.
We can’t wait to meet our new families. I’m still available for adoption too.
Can you help us find our forever families?!
Bumble and Bee are sisters and are five months old, they each weigh approx. thirty pounds.
Three incredible sweet and gorgeous 12 week old Bulldog mixes.
Sprinkles is a two and a half year old Pointer mix.
This sweet girl is so well behaved. So chill and laid back.
Sprinkles loves to walk and do a few morning and evening zoomies in the yard, and she’s good!
Floki is a one year old male Catahoula mix. Weighing approximately fifty pounds.
the sweetest baby boy around!
This sweet girl is Molly. She is a seven year old Labrador mix around seventy pounds
Am I not THE CUTEST girl ever!
Hey all, I am Molly, and I am coming to Maine real soon.
Molly is a typical lab, and she loves everyone she meets!!
She is still very playful, but also VERY loving and affectionate.
She does an adorable little shimmy when she walks.
If you are looking for a dog who is ALL personality, this is your girl!!
Molly is great with other dogs, and is playful and polite. She is likely potty trained, as she waits to potty outside.
She also already walks ok on leash.
Despite her age, she still has her “Puppy pep” to her and has some energy so would love to go on adventures with a new family.
Would you like to go on walks with me and make me part of your family?
Isabella is a two year old Shepherd mix. She weighs approx. forty pounds.
This petite beauty is Isabella.
She’s super sweet and loves all people but may be best with a family with older children because she loves to play and jump.
Isabella came from Alabama with only one eye so we don’t know how she came to lose it, but she doesn’t really let it get her down.
She came into RCF rescue when her owner was deployed.
We really want to make sure that she finds the family that will be her furrever home as she’s had a lot of upheaval in her short life.
Isabella is not good with cats or small dogs, but is fine with medium to larger dogs with slow introductions.
She loves to snuggle and receive love but also has energy so would make a good running or hiking buddy.
This sweet girl so deserves the best life.
Regina George, Karen and Gretchen are our Three Heeler Mixes.
They will be eleven weeks on arrival.
I’m a little lab lady and these are my babies.
Some of my pups are a little fluffy or even have blue eyes so everyone’s guess is that daddy must’ve been a really handsome guy!
Our story is sad.
I survived long enough on my own to get to a shelter… but that’s not a comfortable place to have puppies… it was scary.. and loud… and we were on what they call a “code red list” because they were too full and out of space.
I’m not sure who Charlie is…. But I know he and his friends saved my whole family.

To meet our new families. I’m still available for adoption too.
I love everyone and desperately want attention.
I even tried to snuggle a cat for love. She smacked me though rude. Anyway.
Sorry my babies are a little covered in their dinner here in their pictures.
They get pretty excited about having a whole meal to themselves.
Can you help us find our forever families?!
We are brother and sister and will be approx. seven months old.
We are around twenty – eight pounds and are Labrador Retriever mixes.
Hey Yawl, my name is Arthur and I am Aardvark’s brother.
I am so excited because they told me we are going on a big trip to Maine soon.
I am a very smart boy, I know how to sit and know I have to potty outside.
I would love a family that loves me and show me the world can be an exciting and not a scary place.
I love to run, play outside with other dogs, and go for long walks with you.
Would you like a new BFF?
Hi Everyone, my name is Aardvark.
I am a beautiful girl and am very submissive.
I love to go shopping with you, especially in pet stores checking out the latest toys.
I am very well behaved and love to go for car rides, long walks, running around outside and playing with other dogs.
Would you like to adopt a sweet, gorgeous new friend?
Everyone at Rescue Charlie’s Friends, we can’t thank you enough for all that you do with your amazing rescue! Our new addition Clara (aka Azure) is loving her new life here in Lincolnville and her new friend Trigger is in love.
Thank you again for all of your hard work!
I adopted a puppy from Rescue Charlie’s Friends on June 2, 2018 named August. My thirteen year old dog had passed away the month before.
I renamed him. Bud Lite. Bud because he is my Buddy and Lite because he is the Lite of my life.
I am some what of a hermit, but Buddy gets me out walking everyday. We have met many wonderful people and other dogs on our walks.
He means everything to me.
PLEASE keep up the good work you are doing both for the dogs and the families that are fortunate enough to adopt them.
