Here's Charlie

Will you help rescue his friends?

Meet Charlie

Hi, I’m Charlie.

This dog rescue organization is named after me.

My sister and I were in cages, sleeping on a cold concrete floor and getting lousy food.  It was crowded and they had to make room because more dogs were coming.

If we hadn’t been rescued, things would not have ended well for us.

Some of my friends are in the same terrible situation and they need help.

Will you help me save my friends?

Let’s make sure they get a new life in a warm and loving home.

Save a life.  Adopt one of my friends.

Lets go!

Can you please hurry?

My friends are waiting!

Is it OK if I drive?

Puppies Arriving in March

Get your new Best Friend Here -

W have lots of puppies arriving in March.  Scroll down and check them out!

2018 was a great year! Rescue Charlie’s Friends began in March, 2018 and in our first year over 150 dogs were rescued from deplorable conditions and adopted into their new families.  They are happy dogs now!  We are doing it again in 2019!

None of this would be possible without our wonderful volunteers and sponsors. The happy faces on kids, adults and wiggly, tail wagging dogs makes all the effort worthwhile. With your continued support, we plan to make 2019 an even better year!

If you want a new best friend to go home with you, please fill out an Adoption Application.

All dogs and puppies adopted through Rescue Charlie’s Friends are up to date on all their vaccinations, have been spayed or neutered and have a microchip so that if they are ever lost, they can be returned to their family.

You can adopt one or both!

Ruby Ann and her Puppies

Ruby Ann and her fantastic puppies will be here and ready for adoption in early March.

Ruby Ann has eight babies.  We expect they will be small when they are grown up – less than 50 pounds –  but no guarantee.  They are six weeks old in the pictures and will be ten weeks old when they are in Maine and ready to be picked up by their new families!

Ruby Ann and her family were rescued in North Carolina.  Thank you to our southern friends for the pictures!

Isn’t she pretty?

Ruby Ann is a Labrador mix 1 1/2 to 2 years old. She is about 25 to 30 pounds.
